What color formats does this tool support?

The tool supports five color formats: HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, and CMYK. You can input a color in any of these formats and instantly see the converted values in all other formats.

How does the auto-detect input work?

Simply type or paste a color value in any supported format — such as #f43f5e, rgb(244,63,94), hsl(350,90%,66%), hsv(350,74%,96%), or cmyk(0,74,62,4) — and the tool automatically detects the format and converts it to all others.

What is the shades and tints generator?

The shades and tints generator creates 10 variations of your color by adjusting the lightness in HSL space. Darker shades decrease lightness while lighter tints increase it. Click any swatch to use that color as the new base.

Can I copy the converted values?

Yes, each format has a Copy button next to it that copies the value to your clipboard. There is also a CSS Variables section that generates ready-to-use CSS custom properties which you can copy with one click.

Is my color data sent to any server?

No. All color conversions and calculations happen entirely in your browser. No data is uploaded to any server, ensuring your information remains completely private and secure.
