What grading scales are supported?

The calculator supports both 4.0 and 5.0 grading scales. You can toggle between them at the top of the tool, and all grade options and calculations update automatically.

How does the academic standing work?

Based on your GPA, the tool assigns a standing such as Dean's List, Good Standing, Satisfactory, Academic Warning, or Academic Probation. The thresholds differ between the 4.0 and 5.0 scales.

Can I add and remove courses?

Yes. Click the Add Course button to add a new row with course name, grade, and credits fields. Each row also has a remove button to delete that course.

Does the calculator update in real time?

Yes. As you enter or change course names, grades, or credit hours, the GPA, total credits, total grade points, academic standing, and progress bar all update automatically.

Is my academic data stored anywhere?

No. All calculations happen locally in your browser. Your course data is never sent to any server and is lost when you close or refresh the page.
