Yes, you can switch between MPG (Miles per Gallon) and L/100km (Liters per 100 Kilometers) using the Efficiency Unit selector. The results adapt automatically.

How does the round trip toggle work?

When enabled, the round trip toggle doubles the distance for the calculation, so the fuel needed and total cost reflect a return journey.

Can I split the cost among passengers?

Yes, enter the number of passengers and the calculator will show the cost per person. The default is 1 passenger (the driver only).

What is the vehicle efficiency comparison table?

The comparison table shows estimated fuel costs for six vehicle types — Compact, Sedan, SUV, Pickup, Hybrid, and Electric — so you can see how your trip cost varies with different efficiency levels.
