Frequently Asked Questions

What harmony rules are available?

The tool offers six harmony rules: Complementary, Analogous, Triadic, Split-Complementary, Tetradic, and Monochromatic. Each rule generates a 5-color palette based on color theory principles.

Can I lock specific colors in the palette?

Yes, each color card has a lock button. When you lock a color, it stays in place even when you change the harmony rule or generate a random palette. Click the lock again to unlock it.

How do I export the palette as CSS?

Click the Export CSS button to generate CSS custom properties (--primary, --light, --dark, --accent, --accent-light) with the current palette colors. You can then copy the CSS code with one click.

Can I copy individual colors?

Yes, click any color card to copy its HEX value to your clipboard. A toast notification confirms the copy action. Each card also shows the RGB and HSL values for reference.

Is my color data sent to any server?

No. All palette generation and color calculations happen entirely in your browser. No data is uploaded to any server, ensuring your information remains completely private and secure.
